Visit to Saraswathi Foundation on 22.12.2019

Hi all,

With all your support Sunday i.e 22-12-2019 we have successfully completed the visit of Saraswathi foundation.

Total Volunteers  participated 11 Members .

The home has 20 children

It was an awesome feeling to spend time with children, they also felt very happy

*Highlights of the home visit *

*conducted self-introduction and taught them how to introduce in the manner

*taken their experience about those books which “ASWA” provided in the last visit, children writing  their feelings, thoughts  and their daily activates  also trying to write moral stories,

* made them read a story by everyone and asked them to explain the moral of the story

* made them to drew a painting by assuming their own knowledge and asked to explained moral of that drawing

* conducted some games which improve mental strength and  brain stamina

*brought cake, biscuits, fruits and  celebrated one of the foundation boy “ubed” birthday

* in this visit we conducted above activities

Food Distribution in Old Age Home at Tadipathri

Hello Everyone,

In the memory of Swyampakula Subbaramaiah, his daughter Sri.Subrahmanya Kumari sponcered food to old-age people for entire day.

Thanks to the doner for Thier kind hearted support.

Aman Vedika Orphan Home Visit - 09/09/2018

Hi all,

With all your support today i.e 09-09-2018 we have successfully completed visit in Amanvedika home for orphan boys,near bible house,gasmandi primary school,Secunderabad.

New Year Celebrations 2017

Yesterday ASWA celebrated new year at two schools. And some volunteers visited Bhadrachalam and Annavaram but those who missed or unable to tour celebrated New Year with the children of Adarsha Balya Vedika , Papi Reddy colony, Chanda Nagar run by smt Jhansi.

She was into social work from the age of 14 and even after her marriage she along with her husband continued to do social work. And one day when she was travelling her co passenger met an accidental death and orphan boy was taken by her and got him admitted into an orphanage but the due to the negligence of the ashram died of ill treatment and it disrtubbed her a lot.

She also served as an helper to a bed ridden old man but when he also expired and when  her husband also expired at an young age she started this ashram and found solace in serving these children.

The ashram which started with four children is now is a home for seventeen children. When she narrated her story ASWA volunteers hearts melt and her sacrifices for the children were applauded with not only hands but with hearts and eyes with mist.

When ASWA started to celebrate some more students from VNR and CMR colleges also joined. And volunteers of Janam foundation of krishna reddy garu also joined and all of us together spent some golden moments with the children. Songs, games, dances, cake cutting etc made the occasion more memorable.

28 Aswa volunteers participated and total 50 members including the above had a great new year celebrations. Later on ASWA explained its activities to other new  volunteers and college students who attended. Also given grocieries, pens, pencils, biscuits, chocolates etc to the home. And what a memorable day it was and fitting start to ASWA activities. Thanks to all who were a part of it.

Home Visit of "Ashraya Orphan Home at Lalapet on this Sunday 18th December, 2016 (HYD)

Dear All,

With all your support and blessings we have successfully completed visit of Aashraya Home for Orphans on 18th Dec -16.

Started Event at 10.30AM, with interaction between volunteers and children and completed the event at 1.45 PM.

*Event in brief:*

• 7up Game: Conducted 7up game, all volunteers were played along with children.
• Game 1 and 2: Divided children into 4 teams and conducted 2 more games by 4 individual teams of volunteers under Srinivas guidance. Children played very well and enjoyed a lot.
• Drawing : Conducted Drawing competition to the children 
• Prizes : Distributed Prizes to all winners of above competitions
• Photo Clicks : Group photos, *Selfie Mania* and *YOYO* photos by children and volunteers
• Certificates: At last distributed certificates to new volunteers and explained ASWA activities in brief.

On the occasion of friendship day,With all your support we have successfully completed visit to Sri Sai seva sadan,home for mentally retarded,A.G colony, Hyd...

Total 21 Volunteers participated...The home has 18 mentally retarded children...

It was a awesome feeling to spend time with the children...

Sung many songs...played games with ball, target games, dances by children n volunteers, songs etc...

Each volunteer tied friendship band to one child and each child tied a band to the volunteer.

Supported groceries to the home. The groceries was sponsored by shantaram sir. New Volunteers were appreciated with Aswa certificates .
