IFSC Code : ICIC001315

Let us pray the lord that she recovers soon.

20th January  - Brief Update by Ranganath of AMMA Group

·        Little of our efforts may save a little girl of Future Foundations (Malkajgiri).

·        It is home run by Mr Prashanth and his wife.

·        It is an orphan home consists of around 40 boys and girls (around 20 are HIV infected).

·        Two months back Amma Team(including me) personally went to the home and checked their conditions

·        We spend some time dancing and singing songs, distributing fruits and sweets.  Children are very friendly and mannered (Efforts kept by Mr. Prashanth is appreciable).

·        Little baby is infected and struggling for life. So our little help (emotional and financial) is appreciable

·        Treatment requires approximately Rs.50, 000/-

·        Amma Organization has planned to donate 5000/-.

·        Ground work is done by Laxman/Mantri/Srivalli  to know the genuineness of the things

20th January  - Brief Update by AMMA Srinivas

We have arranged Neocate Infant Tins (Milk Powder) to Future Foundation. We have 5 Cartons (5*4tins=20Tins, each cartoon cost 2,200/-), which actually bought by my sister from U.S to my Colleagues Daughter. Luckily we arranged few of them from him to this baby. Which total Cost 11,000/-, in which 5000/- has been donated by AMMA-ASWA.

Mr. Prasanth already spend Rs.60, 000/- for this baby. More updates will be given by Laxman or Mantri.  She eagerly needs financial support. I didn't visit the Hospital personally.

25th January  - Brief Update by Ranganath of AMMA Group

·        We visited the Suraksha Hospital, Tarnaka, Near Sanman Hotel on 22nd Jan 2011.

·        We all accumulated at the place around 9-30am

·        We met Mr. Prashanth who looks after the orphan home and care taker of the baby.

·        We observed that baby is kept in ICU and the treatment they are providing is of best quality.

·        Daily Rs3000/- is collected as ICU charges, remaining tests and other charges extra.

·        We waited to take a clear idea from the  Doctor who arrived around 12pm ,

·        Doctor told the feeding of Neocate Infant Tins (Milk Powder) will start from 22nd evening .

·        Slowly feeding starts with 4ml and increasing as how the baby responds to 40ml.

·        But he was not sure when the expected discharge of Baby from hospital as it purely depends on how the baby responds.

·        We have collected the medical reports and bills from the doctors, so that further generation of money can be done if the situation deteriorates.

·        We all dispersed around 1pm

·        Volunteers participated 1)Srivalli 2)Manoj 3) Ranganath

28th January  - Brief Update by Srinivasa Prasad of AMMA Group

This afternoon I called to Prasanth about Baby’s health. He said slowly recovering, and today baby has shifted to General ward from ICU. Baby may be discharged tomorrow.

He said till now its cost Rs.77, 810/- (hospital billing amount) for ICU and other expenses (excluding few outside tests & expenses). He already paid Rs. 42, 000/- as advance and still required 35,810/-. He eagerly waiting to see more helping hands turn up to help him.

29th January  - Brief Update by Janardhan of AMMA Group

Today 29th Saturday morning, myself and Prashanth went to CM Camp office for the Relief fund. There in Arogyasri office, we need to submit Patient ID Proof and Patient records and Request letter.

Mr. Prashanth doesn't have the baby birth certificate and ID proof, so we missed the opportunity to get the help from Govt. We dont have time to get ID proofs, because baby is getting discharged. He has to bear the money by himself now.

Still he needs our help; let us try to help him out.

29th January  - Brief Update by Santosh  Kumar of HOPE FOR THE NEEDY Group

Myself, My friends Prashanth and Srinivas( HOPE - for needy members) went to FUTURE FOUNDATION which is run by prashanth. The baby is suffering from clinical sepsis virus and I personally seen her. Really I dont have any words to describe the situation the minute I seen the baby.

She is discharged today evening. On behalf of our org we have contributed 5000/- to Prashanth. And there are many orphans who are taking shelter in that organization(future foundation). Hats off to prashanth, who is taking care of them in a very good way. And the time we went it was 8pm, so they were all having dinner. With the insist of prashanth we too had our dinner there itself. I really feel that its our luck to have dinner with those children. Thank you Prashanth and BOSF for giving us this opportunity to do our bit to that baby. Hope more members will come forward and help him.

AKSHARA PATASALA - -Education for Children in Slums - AMRU NAGAR BANJARA THANDA, KARMIKA NAGAR & VENKATESWARA NAGAR

Hi,

We planned and decided to conduct regular Evening classes to AMRU NAGAR THANDA children. We started one Slum School at Amru Thanda and extended our Services to Two nearest Slums i.e. Karmika Nagar & Venkateswara Nagar. So now we have 3 Slum Schools in Bala Nagar

Along with SERVE THE NEEDY GROUP are supporting Mr. Prasad’s efforts. This is a Joint Project and 60-75% of the Financial Support is from SERVE THE NEEDY GROUP only. Apart from this in all other things we have equal participation.

LOCATION: - This is located in an industrial area between Bala Nagar and Moosapet. There are more than 100 families located adjacent to a canal, which is full of dust. All these are asbestos constructions.

Most of them are working in the near by industries and getting 2000-3000/- per month. Few of them have interest in studies but due to lack of guidance they are not continuing the same.

Most of the Children are not interested to go for schooling. They are going for playing, begging and other informal things.

INITIATION: - Mr. Prasad, who is working in an industry near to the slum, has identified  this slum and interacted with the people more than a month and acquired some rapport and decided to provide education to these little kids and interested people who discontinued their studies.

Mr. Prasad and Laxman approached us & Serve the Needy team to plan the things here to provide basic education to these children.

OUR PLANS: - After having several visits and contacting the thanda persons we decided to conduct regular classes (6-8pm) here.  We appointed a teacher for Rs.1500/- up to 1month.we thought we can get clear picture and assess their response with in couple of months and then decide the future plans.

From 26th January, 2011 we started the classes in this Thanda.

Dear Friends,

We successfully completed the Prize distribution Programme at "SRI SARASWATI VIDYA MANDIR" on 24th Jan. SrinivasaPrasadRao, Haritha, Ranganath and ManojKumar are the active Participants in this Programme.

For our remembrance we conducted the EssayWriting competition and Elocution competition in the school on 29th Nov 2010.

After the completion of Prayer in the school Mr.Ranganath motivated and inspired the students “to be fearless and more and more active in any event which inturn helps to improve one's interpersonal skills”.

Sri SaiNath Garu, Secretary of the SARASWATI VIDHYA PEETAM and Mrs Vanaja Madam, Headmistress gave the prizes to the winners of Essay Writing and Elocution Competitions.

Also Mr. Ranganath gave Cards relating to " SWAMI VIVEKANANDA Quotations to the Students " to all the students who participated in the Elocution Competition. Finally Mr. SrinivasPrasad Rao made the students to take oath that they will come forward and participate in any competitions by overcoming the most obstacle factor for ones growth i.e. fear. Manoj & Haritha has coordinated all the things.

It is really good experience in the school, that the students are well disciplined which we came to know through out our session. The main thing is that the management and teachers are very sportive and they are encouraging the students too. I hope this is a good sign for us to do more and more events.

Quick Outline Of SriVidya home visit-08.01.11

Date: Sat, Jan 8, 2011 at 8:21 PM

Dear Friends,

Today morning 9-30 to 10am we all gathered at Sri Vidya Home for Mentally Challenged at Mahendra Hills.

More than 100 children were getting trained to become self sufficient in daily activities and learning good ethics.

The home is run voluntarily by Mrs. VaniVenkat who is the director of the home.

She is a humble lady with pleasing manners, shared few of her experiences about the children

She continues in our house we have all kind of workers say a carpenter, plumber and so on, pointing to the little children and she laughs..

One of the child is expert in opening any kind of lock and doors , and one will climb up and up on the cub boards and walls... :)

A young girl Anusha who is 14 yrs old has joined the home when she was 4 years old.

The way she improved herself and her pleasing manners is appreciable. .. this naughty girl imitates all the teachers by saying the common words they use..........:)

We conducted the drawing competition..  we all volunteers helped to mix colors and give an outline for them to paint.. the smile and the sense of happiness in their faces.. is worth million dollars..

I am deeply touched with the children and the positive attitude they are developing..

I recommend we must add this home in our monthly visits...

Today i learned happiness is in the way we  take things.. Accept the things the way we got and live the life to its Extreme..

Veerendra V and Janardhan were present at the spot at 8-30am and their time sense is appreciable.

Veerendra sponsered 1500rs worth provisionary and biscuits... Manoj  sponsered choclates.. Special thanks to these two people.

Most important every one met for a right cause and we all learned many things..

A meeting was going on for funds raise in the home.. it was already 1pm so we concluded our visit..

Pavan joined the meeting and was involved in further discussions .

Recommendations..
