Hi FriendsFriday we handed over Rs.50,000/- Cheque to Swetha & her parents towards our support for her operation / treatment expenses. Thanks to all the donors who donated and our special appreciations to our volunteers Sri. Ranjani, Anil, Ravi Prasad, Kanaka Durga, Nagaraju and Siva every one who worked hard to collect little contributions from their circle.

The latest update is Vellore CMC not accepted our CM Letter of Credit, so the treatment has been shifted to NIMS, Hyderabad. We will contribute for post operation expenses, if we collect any donations from here onwards. Our personal wishes to every donor who contributed and worked for this case

                                           Request Letter from Family

My name is Padmavathi; I'm a self employed woman aged 46. My husband is a private employee. We are a middle class family who faced lots of struggles and brought up my children

Family Position

I had 3 daughters, but my elder daughter passed away 2 years ago in an accident. My 2nd daughter completed graduation from Nishitha College of engineering and working in Genpact BPO, and my younger daughter is doing b.com and is working in a private organization. My Husband is working as Site Supervisor.

Case History

The problem is that my 2nd daughter who completed her b. Tech is undergoing a major surgery. The surgery is called as bone marrow transplantation which costs around 14-15lakh rupees she is anemic since past 9 months. We consulted doctor from MEDICITY hospitals in Hyderabad In the earlier stages doctors felt that she is just anemic and recommended further tests and found out that she is suffering from myeldosplastic syndrome then found out that there is no blood production in my daughter's body wherein we had to get her blood transfused once in every month. It went on for nearly 6months and then doctors noticed that she was suffering from various symptoms too such as migraine, vomiting, indigestion, weight loss, low BP. Then doctors recommended further test and doubted it could be cancer, but then they did repeated bone marrow biopsy and aspiration and declared as she is suffering from myeldosplastic syndrome. All the stem cells in her body that produces blood are all dead and it is all dried in her bones. She can only survive if we get her blood transfused along with medication, but continuous medication leads to kidney failure and other organ failure. The only way to save my daughter is to get the bone marrow transplantation done is what the doctors declared. My younger daughter went through various tests and she is now matched for the bone marrow transplantation for her sister as a donor.

Cost of Surgery

As the surgery is costing 14lakh rupees, we are trying to arrange the amount within next 30-40days that is when the surgery is scheduled in CHRISTIAN MEDICAL COLLEGE which is in Vellore. The doctors from MEDICITY hospitals recommended us to visit CMC hospital in Vellore as this is a major surgery. Hence we consulted doctors at CMC Vellore and that's where she is undergoing her surgery.

My humble request to AMMA SOCIAL WELFARE ASSOCIATION is to help me.  If there is anyone who can come forward and help us with some funds for my daughter's surgery that would be helpful and would also save my daughter's life. Contact: 9949375075, 9966918902
