లైబ్రరీ పరిభాషలో "ప్రదర్శన (DISPLAY)"

 ఈ రోజు చరిత కోసం మేము చేసిన ఒక చిన్న పని - దాని ప్రాముఖ్యత.  దీనికయ్యే ఖర్చు ఒక మంచి తెగని (ప్లాస్టిక్ / ఏదైనా) గట్టి దారం.

పిల్లలకి ఎన్ని కథల పుస్తకాలు కొనిచ్చామో / కొనిస్తున్నామో ఒక ముఖ్యమైన విషయం అలాగే ఎన్ని వారికి అందుబాటులో ఉంచామో అనేది ఇంకా చాలా పెద్ద విషయం.

మన ఇంట్లో మనకోసం మనమే చాలా బుక్స్ కొనివుంటాము. ఎన్ని కొన్నామో కూడా చాలా మందికి తెలియదు. కాబట్టి కొన్నవి/ మన ఇంట్లో వుండేవి మనకు కనపడేట్టు పెట్టుకోవడం ఒక ముఖ్యమైన ప్రక్రియ...దీనిని లైబ్రరీ పరిభాషలో "ప్రదర్శన (DISPLAY)" అంటారు.

పిల్లల్లో (మనలో కూడా) పుస్తకాల మీద ఆశక్తిని పెంచడానికి వాటిని వివిధ రకాలుగా అమర్చాలి.  దీనికి ఒక సులభమైన ఉదాహరణ DMART తదితర సూపర్ మార్కెట్లు. వినియోగదారులను ఆకర్షించడానికి వారు రోజుకో, వారానికో డిస్ప్లే మారుస్తూ వుంటారు. మనం కూడా అలానే మన పిల్లలకు రకరకాల పద్దతుల్లో display చెయ్యాలి. వారు వారికి ఇష్టం వచ్చినవి తీసి చదువుకొనే విధంగా అందుబాటులో ఉంచాలి.

స్కూల్ లో గానీ, ఇంటిలో కానీ, గ్రంధాలయాలలో కానీ ఇలా పుస్తకాలు కనపడకపోవడమే పెద్ద సమస్య. మీరు రకరకాల DISPLAY లు చాలా సులభంగా చెయ్యొచ్చు. ఆలోచించండి.....

Hi,

We have organized a session on 28th June 2020 on the "Role of books and stories in parenting పిల్లల పెంపకంలో కథలు, పుస్తకాల పాత్ర". Around 170 members attended. 

CA Prasad garu facilitated the session very nicely. 

He requested participants to share their questions at the beginning of the workshop. 

Then he started discussing how important Stories and Books in the brought up of children.

Launch of 11th anniversary booklet of Amma Social Welfare Association.

This years booklet emphasises how our service organisation is going beyond helping students with academic fees, patients with money, blood donations and food distribution, visits to orphanages and old age homes.

More emphasis is on finding solutions to all the above problems. This year passionate people have joined us to strive hard at the root cause of problems. Instead of funding money for surgeries and medical expenses. More emphasis will be on building a healthy society. Instead of helping oldage homes we will work on relationships to ensure less number of elders endup in oldage homes. Instead of distributing food we will work on solving the hunger problem.

General Evaluator Report- Prepared Speech Session

Hi Guys..

Here is my report as general evaluator on our first meeting in Speech Craft.

• I am so happily typing this report. 
• The meeting went very well and so happy to have the first session.
• The meeting started exactly @ 5:05 PM. Though the members were less, we have started the meeting.
• Madhuri being the host had started the meeting.
• First she started the meeting explaining the Parts Of Speech which followed by a small exercise on them.
• Later the prepared speech section has started.
• All the five speakers gave their excellent speeches.
• Prasanna, Sarath, Srinivas, Haritha and Sundar.
• Later Srinivas had conducted a very good Table topics Session.
• All the 5 prepared speech speakers along with Anil had given speeches off the cuff.
• It was also too good that no one has taken their step back.
• Later there was an evaluation section in which all the speeches were evaluates by the respective evaluator. Even I gave my evaluations on the speeches.

Later the voting is done and the winners are

• Prepared Speech winner: Sundar
• Table Topics Winner: Srinivas

Things that are impressive in the meeting:

1. Timer, Ah counter role are exchanged to have constant reporting.

2. Every one has come prepared with their speeches.

3. When the Parts of Speech was explained, every one had listened with keen interest and answered very well in the questions.

4. Timer and Ah counter roles were done excellently by each and every one.

5. Though evaluations are being done for the first time, every one  has given their best.

Things need to be improved:

1. Speeches could be practiced well.

2. We could have more attendance.

3. All the persons could have come in time.

4. Could have a grammarian role in particular so that we could have marked our grammatical mistakes.

Over all its a very great session filled with great enthusiasm.

Hoping to see more sessions.

Its been more than a month that we have discussed about this "Communication Sessions" for our ASWA Members. So here it comes. It starts on August 2nd Sunday 2015, Time would be from 5PM to 7PM.
