1. PRIZE DISTRIBUTIONS AT GOVT. SCHOOL, AMEERPET:
On the occasion of 15th August we have distributed prizes to the winners of the Essay writing/ Elocution Competitions conducted on 31.7.10 under Career Guidance Program of VIKAS Project.
As the school celebrations taken less time and in order to conclude early school management has given lesser time (only 10 min) instead of the allotted time of 20-30 minutes. Any how we distributed prizes to all the winners but we did not find time to explain the cause of conducting these types of competitions and also to motivate them.
S.Sai Sirisha, D.Prabha, U.Divya, Priyanka, Manoj Kumar, Kanaka Rao, Prasanna have participated in this event.
2. FLAG HOISTING AT FORUM FOR STREET CHILDREN:
MORNING:
We completed Flag hoisting along with HELPING HANDS Team. Few of our volunteers explained about Freedom fight, Fighters, Struggle and how we got the Independence and what we have to learn and implement in my daily life from these inspiring personalities and movements.
We distributed sweets and closed the session with songs by children of the home. Ranganath, Rahul, Arun and friends along with Me participated in these celebrations.
EVENING:
In the evening HELPING HANDS TEAM distributed prizes for competitions conducted on 8.8.10. They have arranged PUPPET SHOW.
R. Srivalli, K.Surendra, Ranganath, Arun and Suresh has participated in the evening (5 to 7PM) celebrations.
3. BALARAKSHAK FOUNDATION:
K. Surendra, R. Srivalli has attended the 15th august celebrations at B.R.F after this they meet Moulali (street children whom we joined here recently).
The above are the celebrations. Thanks for all the volunteers who make this different tasks easier with their active participation.
