On 23rd November, we have conducted the following activities in the school from 11 to 12.30 PM as part of our 5th Personality Development Session
I am the only VOLUNTEER attended for this event. It will be more useful even if one other New volunteer accompanied me. We have around 10 regular Volunteers (Haritha, Sai, Vikram, Dhanesh, Mohan, Naresh, Sarath Chandra, Naveen, Venkatesh, Bikshapathi, Naga babu & Kishore) who divided for different tasks, So they are unable to turn-up to other task except their assigned activity.
So i request NEW VOLUNTEERS to turn up and at least spend an our in a month for the welfare of poor and needy.
Its my turn to appreciate NAGA BABU & TEAM for their dedicated efforts in coordinating & conducting VIKAS Project - Personality Development Sessions in 5 Schools with out fail.
For participation we just require couple of hours of our valuable time. But to coordinate the event we need to spend lot of time to plan, prepare, collect resources, Communicate, Coordinate and execute it properly. You can imagine how much time he is spending to conduct the event in total 5 Schools. Every Saturday he is conducting an event (except 2nd). So i once again requesting all the volunteers (other than the above) to participate at least in 1 school activity in a month i.e 2 hours in a month.

- Conducted Common Ability Test (CAT) for 9th & 10th Class Students: To explore students to different competitive exams patterns after 10th class. It helps them to know the different questionnaire patterns. So that they will feel familiar when they are attempting exams after 10th Class. CAT is prepared based on High School Standards. Around 50-70 Students participated in the test.
- Conducted GK Test for 7th & 8th Classes : As children from these classes are regularly requesting us to include them in our PDP sessions,. we prepared a separate GK Question paper for their Standards. Around 20-30 Students participated in this.
- Prize Distribution for Essay Writing & Elocution Competition Winners: In this school no body eligible for Prize distribution, as the criteria is to attempt competition as well as Project work on the same. Many of them are attended either for Competition or Submitted Project, but no one is completed BOTH. We explained the same to children and motivated them to make a complete participation from next time onwards.
- Quiz Material Distribution and Groups Division : We have collected interested students list for the QUIZ competitions. We divided them in 5 Groups. Each group consists of 7 Members from all the classes of 8th, 9th and 10th. We distributed a Simple Theory Material on few topics divided into 4 categories (Science, Social, GK, Computer Basics). We though this is a good move instead Providing Direct Question & Answers. Now children has to read the entire Material or Topic to answer Questions from any Category, So that they will learn something if they read entire thing.
