REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATIONS
Hi Friends
On 26th Jan, we completed Republic Day Celebrations successfully in Two places, One is Balanagar Thanda and other is SVM School. In both the activities our Volunteers worked hard.
1. PRIZE DISTRIBUTION AT SARASWATHI VIDYA MANDIR (SVM) SCHOOL, KHAIRATHABAD
We have distributed Prizes for Essay Writing & Elocution competitions conducted on 21st Jan, 12 for 6th to 10th Class Students. We have also invited for their 26th Celebrations. This is great to see all the Inspiring Performances of the Children and speeches of School Management and Guests.
We have distributed Prizes and have a few words on importance of participating in these Competitions.

2. CELEBRATIONS AT BALA NAGAR (AMRU NAGAR, KARMIKA NAGAR & VENKATESWARA NAGAR)

MORNING ACTIVITIES
- Bharata Maatha Pujotsavam:- We started our Republic Day Activities at Karmika Nagar with PUJA to Bharata Maatha by all the Participants (Volunteers, Children, Local People). Before that we have few inspiring words by Sanjar (Vandemataram Foundation).
- Then we conducted a Big Rally covering all the Slums where the Children come from. Few got inspired by Quotes, Few by Get ups, Few by Masks and few by their children in Different get ups…… We shouted few slogans. Children’s are really active
Finally we distributed Sweets to all the participants.
EVENING ACTIVITIES
- Jyothi Prajwalanam
- Few words by Chintu & Srinivas regarding Slum Developments
- Stunning, Inspiring & Funny (Skits, Songs, Poems, Rhymes, Good words, Fancy Dress
- Competitions many more) performance of Cultural Activities by Children of these slum schools
- Mementoes to Best Students, Volunteers and others who supporting/helping us in this
- Many Volunteers and Local Families, People watched entire events
- We organized AKSHARA T-STALL, where we can get T & Biscuits for Rs.10/-
- We organized AKSHARA BOOK STALL, where we can get inspiring books

All these activities gave more energy for future activities and we are very much thankful to all the volunteers, who made this event grand success and also we express our sincere gratitude to the all the parents (Thanda) of the children’s and Principal of the St. Agatha School, Who gave transport support for the Morning events.
Last but not least, we and “Serve The Needy” people shared the total Expenditure evenly and our Sincere thanks to them for Financial assistance of all the activities.

Republic Day Celebrations
Serve The Needy-AMMA Social Welfare Association is going to celebrate the Republic Day at Akshara Paatashala -Bala Nagar Slum Schools (Karmik Nagar, Venkateswara Nagar & Amru
Program details – Event Date - 26th January - 2012.
Morning Session:
- 8:30 AM – We will start Rally from Karmik Nagar. All the members are requested to gather there by 8:30 AM.
- 9:30 AM – Flag Hosting.
- 9:45 AM – Sweets and Chocolates Distribution.
- 10:00 AM – Vote of Thanks.
Evening Session:
- 5:20 PM – Jyothi Prajwalana
- 5:30-8.00 PM - Cultural Activities Performance by Kids
Rally will contain different slogan & freedom fighters masks & get ups etc.. we need around 30 Volunteers for this event
All the children of these 3 schools will perform different activities. They need your encouragement and support.
Do turn up, We invite all of you for this event.
Let us join our hands to raise the Colorful Flag forever with all the loved ones.
