"Personality Development Program” under VIKAS PROJECT in Govt Schools for Academic Year 2013-2014

Hi Friends,

We are extremely happy to inform you that our "Personality Development Program" under VIKAS PROJECT is ready to start from tomorrow. This academic year (2013-2014) we planned to improvise our last year activities and efforts in order to improve children's skills & personality further.

In previous years we conducted competitions in many different schools occasionally, which has impact but we thought with regular follow-up we can see much more development in children. So we planned the below activity which will be easy for all i.e. School Management, Our Volunteers and for the Students.

Flexibility in planning this NEW ACTIVITY is

• We just need 2 Hours Permission in a Month from School Management. So it will be very easy for them.

• These are individual activities which will complete in 1 session and needs no further follow-up.

• We are regularly visiting the same school, so we get rapport with the students and have regular touch with them.

• We can plan activities based our regular observations.

• These are bunch of activities, which extract skills from students very interactively and easily.

• It will be very easy for volunteers as their 2 Hours in a Month is enough to take up 1 school and to transform the children.

• Z.P.H. School, Chinthal Basti, Kairathabad, Hyderabad    -1^st Saturday
• Nishulk Prabhat Trust School, Kairathabad, Hyderabad    -3^rd Saturday
• Govt. Round Table High School, Sanath Nagar, Hyderabad         -4^th Saturday

Based on our Volunteers strength we have taken the below 3 schools, and will conduct our above planned sessions regularly once in a month on specified day (1^st/3^rd/4^th Saturday). These all are one time activities and will improve few skills in students. If more volunteers comes we will conduct in more schools.

 Activities in Villages of Medak Disitrict;

We are also started Conducting "Personality Development Programme" in the below 2 Villages of Medak District. Which will mailed you shortly, once it is finalized.

• Z.P.H. School, Kuchanpalli, Medak (Dt)                     -3^rd Saturday

Our objectives

• Reduce their fear, Open-up and develop their presentation & communication skills.
• Creating awareness on different Career options available in education after 10th
• Personality development & Goal Setting
• Creating awareness on different general topics
• Exposing them to different competitive examination patterns & many more

Our activities includes any of the following (order may change).

• General Introduction & interaction
• Essay Writing Competition to improve their Presentation Skills
• Session on Greenery & Its awareness by MVK Reddy Garu
• Vedic Mathematics Tips to create interest in Mathematics
• Elocution Competition improve their Presentation Skills
• Session on Social Responsibility and Serving Others for general awareness
• Science Practical's to create interest in Science
• Sports & Cultural Competitions improve their Presentation Skills
• Quiz Competition to improve their Subject & General Knowledge
• Common Ability Test to expose them to different competitive examination patterns
• Personality Development, Goal Setting  & Career Guidance Sessions
• Spoken English and Communication Skills
• Jeevana Vidya or Lead India Session for Human Values development
