Holidays for our Slum Schools

Hi Friends

I forgot to update you about our Bala Nagar Slum Schools.

From 1st May onwards we have declared holidays for 2 Schools in Amru Nagar & Venkateswara Nagar Slums. 

Summer classes at Karmika Nagar is going on with activities and playings.

All three schools will start functioning as it is once schools are reopened.

5th Blood Donation Drive for Thalassemia Children on 20.05.12

We called many….

Sent messages to lot of people…

Forwarded detailed mails to all the contacts…

Posted in Face Book and other Social Networking Sites….Many Shares & likes……

We requested them to come at least for Awareness on this Thalassemia disorder….

But finally very few kind hearts responded ….

Totally 63 People turned up to donate their Blood, in which 53 members are eligible and donated Blood….

Our Special thanks to all the Volunteers, Donors who responded immediately and gave a hope to the Thalassemia affected children & Society by Donating Blood/Organizing the event/Spreading the thought/Motivating Donors….

In a Team's success every one's hand/work is important either small or big...

Our Special Appreciations to Raghava, Surendra & Durga Prasad who worked hard in motivating Donors....

and our new volunteers Sudeepthi, Swarna, Siva Sankar Reddy for motivating their Friends......

We didn't find even a single kid in the society who is doing Blood Transfusion on 20^th May Sunday in the total 1300 Thalassemia affected children registered in the society…we enquired why it's happened? And Stunned after listening their words….. 

"1300 Children's are ready for Transfusion but Blood is not available"…..

We have no words. These tells the story. We realized how valuable our single unit of Blood donations is…Even our Single Unit makes a difference in a Life of one Kid… 

Please come forward & donate Blood to save these little kids.

These Little Kinds needs U...Their life's depends on U i.e. DONOR…

Thalassemia Society & its staff are really doing a marvelous job. Kudos to their efforts. Special Thanks to Dr Suman Jain,Smt.Durga,Mr.Alim Beg,Mr.Siva & other staff for their selfless deeds..

Visit Report of Sivananda Rehabiliation Center on MOTHERS DAY

Hi Friends…

After nearly 6 months we have wonderful experience and happiest moments with my Mothers and Children at Sivananda Rehabiliation Center

@ Old Age Home

• Cake Cutting by all Mothers (old women)
• Skits & Songs by our Volunteers
• Distribution of Horlicks Bottles & Marigold Biscuit Packets

After knowing the welfare of the women we started to entertaining them by Funny Skits (by Raghava, Durga Prasad, Naresh, Sarath & Others), Songs and other cultural activities. They enjoyed a lot with Skits and felt happy.

Then Cake Cutting and distribution of Biscuit Packets. In our 1.5 Hours of Stay with these women we have some Emotional Crying’s, Funny Feelings, Happy Sharing’s and lot more……Really unforgettable moments to all of us. As we have visited this home after a long time (6 months)… they requested us to visit regularly to have all the above….

This time we started with Skits by Volunteers to entertain them and we conducted few one minute games to children. Children were bit angered as we didn’t see him regularly from last one year. After spending around 1 Hour distributed Moral Story Books (Books of Great Personalities) to all of them along with Scale, Pencil, Pencil, Eraser to all.

We were also planned to visit and distribute biscuits to leprosy ward also…Due to lack of time we couldn’t make it happen at the end….

·         Distribution of Books & Participation Certificates to New Volunteers

We distributed Books (collective working) to all volunteers and Certificate to all new Participant.

Totally it’s an wonderful experience to see those Smiling faces and Innocent Smiles…… We never & ever forget those beautiful moments in our life time…. Thanks to all the volunteers who made this happen.

Blood Donation to Thalassemia Children on 20th May 2012

Hi Friends,

By 19^th May, 2012 we will become eligible to DONATE BLOOD again for a Noble Cause i.e.

THALASSEMIA CHILDREN

CAN I DONATE BLOOD ?

From last June, 11 we are donating blood regularly for every 3 months to these unknown Little Children.

But from last couple of events we have very less number of Donors came forward to donate Blood.

But this time we don't want to repeat the same. We are doing it for a noble cause. Do come forward…..Just spread this Message to as many as you can…

Our 1 Unit Blood Give l5 days life to a Thalassemia Children.

Food Distribution to the Road side Destitute @ Medak District on 6th May;12 to 3 PM

Hi Friends,

On 6th April, Sunday, Mr. Naresh Kumar has started Food Distribution to Home less people between Patan Cheruvu-Sangareddy of Medak District. He would like to continue this on every month. 

Each packets consists of Lemon Rice, Curry, Curd & Water Packet.

His initiation in really inspiring..

Naresh & Raghava have a ride for almost 60 Kms and distributed 20 Food Packets to all the needy people on  Roads. In this Hot Summer their efforts are really inspiring to many of us. 

All the Destitute are eagerly waiting for the food and after giving the packets everyone felt very happy and started eating.

Volunteers felt very happy to be a part of this activity and it gives them a great experience.

Our Heartful thanks to Volunteers for spending time in reaching these Destitute.

Mothers Day Special-Visit of Sivananda on 13th May(Sunday)@4pm

Dear All,

After successful completion of our 4^th Anniversary, now it’s the time to recharge ourselves with more energy and joy. So, we need one activity to get energy for this, there is only one solution I.e., “SIVANANDA REHABILITATOIN CENTER”.

So many Amma volunteers were turned up to the activities after visiting of SIVANANDA. Because, we will get such an encouragement and energy from the Little Hearts. Really it’s a wonderful experience with the children’s, every one felt that, it was the right place for our motivation.

Generally, we will visit the homes to cheer up the children’s from their past experiences but here the children’s will give energy to forget about our problems with their Little Hearts.

Hence, this Sunday we are going to visit “SIVANANDA REHABILITATOIN CENTER” to get more fun and increase our energy.
