We reached the gathering point by 8.15 am (app.) which is opposite to NTR gardens near Prasad IMAX theatre. More than 10 schools were actively participated in this event in forming the human chain.We supported the event by organising the human chain by children, Creating awareness in the public by filling up the Eye donation forms and supplying necessaries to the children along with Other group volunteers. As part of Eye Donation Fortnight campaign from 25th Aug to 8th Sept, Madhava Nethra Nidhi, an Eye Bank of Pushpagiri Eye Institute, West Marredpalli, is organizing a Human Chain from 8 am to 11 am on Wednesday, 8th Sept on Neckalace road. Mayor Mrs Karthika Reddy will address the gathering apart from other guests.
There is a panel discussion on Eye Donation in TV5 on 7/09/2020 i.e today at 6pm. Please watch the same.
