Visit to Zion Blind home@Vijayawada

Hi friends,

This is a mail regarding our visit to ZION BLIND HOME. Yesterday(07-01-2013) me(vani) and bhargavi garu visited ZION BLIND HOME located at machavaram down, Vijayawada.

• Its a home for blind and handicapped.
• It is found and run by church paster in 1995.
• There are totally 40 in number.25 are blind and the remaining are personally handicapped.
• All are students studying 10th,inter,degree.there are 2 kids also.
• All are arts students and studying in SRR&CVR govt.college nearby. 
• As per warden,they are very talented, and they can grasp subject just by hearing once or twice.
• They are very much active and welcomed us saying happy new year.  

Their requirements are as below:

NEED FOR SCRIBES(EXAM WRITERS):

D.Mallesh-    BA  1st yr.(SHP)- for english and computers

K.Kishore-      BA   1st yr.   "           Sociology,computer and contemporary

Ch.raju          BA    1st yr.   "          computer and telugu

N.R.prasad    Inter 1st yr.(HEC)      Economics,civics and english

K.Yesudas      BA   3rd yr.(SHP)      Sociology,History,Politics and contemporary

J.Danamma    BA  2nd yr.   "          sociology,political science and computers

What the warden has said is that, if the scribes also has some idea about subject,they also can help them in exam so that they can score maximum score.

NEED FOR BOOKS:

• B.Ed- Maths, physics and General subjects (Mater mind series)
• BA 1st yr-Sociology- 4 in no.
• BA 2nd yr-   ''          -1 in no.
• BA 3rd yr-Sociology 3rd and 4th paper - 1 each
• EXAM PADS - 10 in no.

They are having computer lab with one computer, so,if possible they are requesting for 2 more for practicing. 

They are requesting for an English teacher also.

They gave permission to conduct any competitions on jan 26th.
