HUDHUD Relief Activities @ Bondavalasa

Medical Camp & Boring Repair on 24th December, 2014

Sundar Sir, Kavitha Madam visited the village with the help of Venkat Rao garu and successfully conducted

  • Medical Camp
  • Repaired Bore
Thanks to Vijaya Bhaskar garu for donating 7000/- for this cause. Total expenses for bore repair is 2900/- and Medical expenses sponsored by Dr. Sundar garu himself.

We are planning to distribute Solar Torch Lights to the needy. Which will be updated by Dr. Sundar Garu Soon...

Report By Dr, Sundar - 4th December, 2014

I can't believe such primitive villages exist so near to us even today. Today i went to the village bonduvalasa where we have distributed provisions as a part of hudhud relief along with marika and pata marika villages. Mr Venkata rao working in center for sustainable agriculture has guided us in identifying the most needy people affected by hudhud. Now when he asked us to help this village for drinking water i went to the village to know about the problem. This village is about 60km from vizag. There is no electricity In this village(not because of hudhud this village doesn't have electricity at all). There is only one hand pump for water for all purposes. This hand pump is having a problem. Water is not clear. Rice cooked with this water is turning yellow. And so many of them became ill. Mechanic came and removed the pipes and three of them are having holes. They have closed the holes with rubber tubes but mechanic advised to replace them with new ones. but as they have no money they are unable to purchase the pipes. So it will be helpful if we can purchase new pipes and they will not cost very much. This village bonduvalasa has 14 families who have migrated from the hill to a lower place near another tribal village as their children were dying due to various diseases. This village is in between vizianagaram and visakhapatnam. Previously they belonged to visakhapatnam village now they are in vizianagaram village. They have no voter id so no politician is concerned about them. They have no electricity. No water. They are leading primitive lives. Only source of water which is a hand pump belonging to another village is having problem. This is a genuine case where we can help them in many ways

1. Repairing the hand pump
2. Providing 500/- per family to purchase solar lamp rest of the 500rs govt will give as subsidy. And they can have some light.
3. They are complaining about diseases and i have assured them about medical help. I also want to give them a set of grihavaidyam charts so that they will Paste them on their houses and refer them to treat small diseases
4. They have many use full herbs growing in those hills. I have assured them that i will buy and make my friends buy if they collect those herbs properly.
5. Most important thing is to help them get voter id and ration cards so that govt will start taking care of them.
6. Help them get electricity
Only one pump for entire village which is one km away from where they live

There is this farmer chinna whose half acre land is adjacent to our farm. His crops were destroyed in hudhud. Now after three months wait we finally got electricity for agriculture bores but his bore was not working and it got stuck when he tried to pull it out for repair. For the past four days bore people are trying to pull it out but it got stuck at 95 feet.
They are charging around 7500rs per day for the machinery and work to pull the bore out. Tomorrow they will stop even if the motor will not come.

He has sold his healthy buffalo which is worth 40000 for just 23000 to pay for the bore mechanic. This guy is supporting his sisters family and his late brothers family along with his own three children wife and parents. His whole family is in deep sorrow unable to decide what to do. He might incur expenses any where between 40000 to 80000 depending on tomorrow's out come. Only last year he has spent around one lakh to install this bore. Even to day that debt is pending. I am trying to raise some fund for him.

i will post the pics and his statement after tomorrow's outcome.  Please forward it to your friends and i assure you what ever small help will be of great use to him. I will also post this to as many people as i can so that many of us together with some contribution can help him

18th blood donation camp on 25th Jan Sunday 2015 @Ameerpet, Hyd

Hello All kind hearts,

SOMEONE LIVES -  WHEN SOMEONE GIVES
Calling Blood Donors to Save Life

Blood donation is among the highest service one can render to humanity. With this thought, AMMA Social Welfare Association  is organizing Blood Donation camp on jan 25, 2010 (sunday). This small activity can save lives of many Thalassemia effected children. Hence, we request for your participation and also request you to invite your friends, relatives and other people you know for this noble cause.

Amma Social Welfare Association successfully conducted 17 blood donation camps with your great support. we are expecting the same support this time also...

18 th Blood Donation Camp  Details ::

Venue:      Arogya Dhatri Ayurvedic Hospital, Opp Vasan Eye Care, Image Hospital Lane, Opp R.S.Brothers Street, SR Nagar, Hyderabad
Date:         Jan- 25,  2015  Sunday
Time:         9.00 AM to 2 PM

on this day we are conducting rally from SR Nagar Statue to to venue to aware of blood donation and hba2 test (Thalassemia checking test before marriage to avoid thalassemia). please participate in this rally.  Your act of  volunteering blood donation & blood donation Rally will serve as an inspiration to other people.

==>  There is a general misconception among people that blood donation leads to physical weakness which has been proved irrational medically and is just a psychological effect. A person recovers the blood donated in just 20 to 59 days and hence can donate again after 90 days. Donating blood in every 3 months has been proved healthy.

u know Blood donation is healthy  !!! ::::
**    Enhance the production of new Red Blood Cells.
**   Burns calories, One pint of blood (450 ml) when donated burns 650 calories in donor's body.
**   Helps in fighting "Hemochromatosis", it's a genetic disease which  may lead to organ damage.
**   It has been mentioned in various sites though not proved that elderly people in good health have reported feeling invigorated or re energized by giving blood on a regular basis.
**   Reduces the chance of heart diseases, also It helps in reducing the chance of heart attack to one third.
**   Apart from all these benefits a donor gets a mini blood test done before donating blood. This includes Hematocrit i.e. HB level test,
**   Blood pressure is measured, body weight is checked. After the blood is collected it tested for 5 major diseases. Those are Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, HIV, Syphilis and malaria.

The most valuable thing you can donate is your blood, there is nothing  precious than a human life.
Let's try to save as many we can.

Together we can make a difference, I am ready, ARE YOU???
