Birla Planetarium Visit to GBES children on 7-9-2015

Hi,

As you all know that we are conducting our regular session at GBES School from last 3 years, most of the school children from nearest slum near Nature Cure MMTS Railway Station, Bulkumpet. To increase the thinking and learning capacity we want to take them out, which is the main motto behind “BIRLA PLANETARIUM VISIT” with 45 children and 2 school teachers. 9 volunteers participated in this visit held on 07/09/2015.

 This visit was sponsored by Mr. Ch.Vijay Bhaskar & Guduru Nagendra (CIQ) Garu. This is the first outing of ASWA for School Children

Children’s learnt many things from this visit and this was very useful for children. They enjoyed a lot, which cause some work for volunteers to control them. We strongly feel that visit of BIRLA PLANETARIUM is more useful to High School Students.

Our visit was in four stairs,

We started at 9:45 am by Bus from school and reached the venue 10:15am.

Firstly we visited “MUSEUM” where we have seen various science related experimental instruments. We explained the children about those instruments and how they work.

 

After that we went to “PLANETARIUM SHOW” which was for 45minutes where we came to know various things about different planets. After completion of this show we (Volunteers& Children) felt like we were in the other planet. We feel everyone has to take their children to this.

Then we had a lunch break. After Lunch we visited third, fourth and ground floors.

 

Fourth floor we have seen “DIFFERENT SPECIES” of Dinosaurs. Children enjoyed and learnt about dinosaurs and its body structure.   Next we visited Dwaraka & Antarctica.

  

Finally we visited “ART GALLERY” where we have seen different types of Ancient things, Valuable ornaments and many such.  We completed our visit at 3pm.

Thanks to all the volunteers for their continuous patience and support. 

I also would like to thank School Management and Planetarium Management for giving permission and making this event success. I hope we have many such visits in other places also.

Home Visit of "Vivekananda Seva Ashram" at Madinaguda @@ On this Sunday 11th Oct, 2015(HYD)

Dear All,

With all your support and blessings we have successfully completed visit of Vivekananda Seva Ashram on 11th Oct-15.

We reached home at 10:00 am and returned at 3:30 pm.

Total 22 volunteers participated and enjoyed a lot.

This home is a combination of both Orphan children and Old age people. 

We have divided the children and our volunteers into 4 groups and conducted games(with balloons and balls).

Singing and Dancing of the children attracted/inspired all the volunteers and our volunteers also participated in the dance with children.

All the volunteers became emotional after listening the stories of the Old age people.

We have distributed groceries, Bananas, biscuits and note books to the orphan Home.

Mahesh Desu's Cousin Rupendra Gupta Desu sponsered for the note books to the children at the orphan and Soumya garu sponsored for the biscuits to the children.

Spare 1 Hour to Feed the Needy people .. i.e, On 16th (Monday),November,2015 at Maternity Hospital,Koti, Hyderabad.

Hi all,

On every third Monday of every month we conduct Food Distribution.

         For this month , on 16^th November(Monday), 2015  evening at 4.30 PM , we are going to conduct Food Distribution in "Govt Maternity  Hospital,Koti" under 'Annam Parabrahmam Project'.

We will start from Mytrivanam(Ameerpet) at 3:00 P.M to Hospital with food packets. Interested volunteers can join from here also. Otherwise you can come directly to Hospital.

We are facing problem in distribution because of lack of sufficient volunteers to control the Crowd.                           
Please do participate to see & feel the need of food and happiness in eyes of beneficiaries.

We need minimum one lady volunteer to distribute to ladies in the wards.

Date : November 16^th

Time : 4.30 pm to 5.30 pm.

Venue : Govt Maternity Hospital,

Place : Near Koti women's college Bus stop , King Koti, Hyderabad

"2K RUN" & BLOOD DONATION CAMP for Thalassemia Children < 8th Nov, 15 Sunday@9.30AM>

Spread a word through your Social Media​

Blood Donation is a very Healthy and most needed noble activity in the world. Need of Blood has been on increasing side, where as BLOOD DONORS are very less.  So in order to create awareness and motivate people towards BLOOD DONATION, we have been conducting Rally's from last 1 year. This time we are planning to conduct a 2K RUN.

This 2K RUN also creates awareness on a dangerous disease “THALASSEMIA”, Patients suffering from this has to go for Life long Blood Transfusion for every 15 days.

When we are hardly able to get 1 UNIT of BLOOD in Emergencies, how will they get blood for every 15 days?.

This is the ONE OF THE REASON  for conducting AWARENESS RUN & Blood Donation Camp. 2000+ Thalassemia affected kids (only registered no) required 4000+ units of blood every month in Hyderabad. 

If you are a Blood Donor then JOIN US to donate blood. If not, you still can become a part by PARTICIPATING in our 2K RUN, from which we can motivate many people. Your Participation not only MOTIVATES the existing Volunteers who are doing this but also INSPIRES many others.

You can donate blood only once in 3 months but you can motivate many people with your 1 HOUR PARTICIPATION IN 2KRUN.

2K Run starts exactly @ 10 AM at Srinivasa  Nagar Community Hall (i.e. Venue). It goes on via S.R. Nagar Police station-Satyam Theatre-Mythri Vanam-Ameer pet-Back to Venue.

Please join with us to extend 15 days life to little kids and see a smile on them.

Note: No registration fee, no age limit  - Just your interest to participate is enough
