Family- 1

  1. Obulasetty Pullarao - 70 Years
  2. Susila - 65 Years

A two members family living in Piduguralla, Guntur dist. The husband is suffering from paralysis and he is taking treatment in Piduguralla. They are getting a pension of 2250 /-from the state government. it’s the only income for them and it’s is not sufficient for their medicine(1500/-), monthly groceries(3000/-), and rent(900/-). They are not able to do any work for income.

They have one son and he is staying away from them. He is working in one Kirana shop for 10000 rupees in Narasaraopet. It’s is not sufficient to take care of his family so couldn’t help his parents.

I have visited their home. It's a tiny house with two rooms and I observed that they are living with only basic things. I also verified their medical bills and reports. I felt that we can extend our support for monthly groceries or medicine.

Family- 2

  1. Maddu Hemalatha - 65 Years
Hemalatha garu is staying in Dachepalli, Guntur dist. So far she survived with her husband’s pension. Unfortunately, her husband died 20 days back with to heart attack so she doesn’t have any income. She has applied for a pension and it will take a couple of months for approval. She has to pay rent 2000/- and 1500/- for groceries.

Children :

She has 3 sons .2 of them were working in Kiran shops and they lost the job due to Carona .now they are selling chocolates and biscuits in their homes and which is not running properly. 3 rd son is a drinker and he is not taking care of his mother.

As discussed with her she is not getting proper support from her sons and no other resources for income. We can extend our support till she gets a pension from the government.

Family- 3

  1. L. Veeraiah - 77 Years

He is staying alone and his son stays away from him. He is getting an old-age pension of Rs. 2250/- from the state government and it is the only income for him. Earlier he did not have a proper house .recently a new house has constructed by village people by contributing Rs. 100 rupees from each family. His monthly expenditures are Rs. 2000/- for medicine and Rs. 1500/- for provisions.

His son works as a lorry driver and has 2 kids. He is not getting proper income regularly. So he is not able to take care of and help his parents.

As per conversation with him and neighbors his son is staying away from him for around a couple of years and even no phone calls him. so I felt we can help him with provision or groceries Rs. 1000/- at least 1 time for 2 months.

Family- 4

    1. Dulipalla Lakshmi Narayana - 70 Years
    2. Dulipalla Anasuryama - 60 Years

A family with two members staying in Chinthapalli, Guntur dist. The husband is suffering from a heart problem and recently had a stunt and he is getting a pension from the state government. wife is going for farming fields as daily labor for Rs. 250/- daily (not regularly) and she is also facing heart disease and diabetes. They have their own house and whatever the money earning is sufficient for groceries and daily expenses but it is not sufficient for their medical expenses. So they are requesting us some help with medical expenses.

    Children:

They have two sons one is running a tiffin stall and he has two kids. Another son lost a job due to corona. As per my observation, old people are not getting support from their children, so we can support them for medical expenses.
