13.03.10, Plantation at Forum For street Children

Hi Team,

We have started our “Save Earth-Each one-Plant One” program successfully at Forum For Street Children on 13.03.2010.

Here we have planted trees (Kaanaga) along with children. We have created awareness about importance of A Tree in nature.  We got immense of satisfaction by doing this.

Here our intention is not only to plant trees in bulk at one place as one time event …rather plant trees where somebody can look after and in particular in Schools, Colleges, Colonies, Old age/Orphanage homes where the children will learn the importance practically and also will do the same from the activity itself.

Our Special thanks to Srivalli, Prabha, Suman, Venkatesh, Kurmaiah, L.K.Mantri, Uma Shankar and Srinivasa Prasad, who participated and made this a successful event

15.03.10-Plantation at Saraswathi Vidya Mandir, Khairathabad

Hi Team,

We have successfully completed our 2^nd event under “Save Earth-Each one-Plant One” program successfully at Saraswathi Vidya Mandir, Khairatabad on 15.03.2010.

Here we have planted trees (Kaanaga) with the help of children & HM.  It was hard task for Volunteers to dig the soil in the hot and humid conditions. We even rocks/stones in couple of instances. But the total credit goes to Kantha Rao, Vijaya Narasimha Reddy, Uma Shankar and the supported children who worked really hard. My special thanks to them for their time and participation. We reached the school at 9.30AM and returned at 2 PM.

We really enjoyed every minute of it and eagerly searching for more places where we have the facilities to plant trees, even in summer. There are few plants which needs regular watering in the first couple of months only.

08.03.10..Prize distributions at Saraswathi Vidya Mandir in their anniversary function

Dear Friends,

As planned and intimated earlier we have successfully completed our Monday event of “Distribution of Prizes for the Competitions conducted on 25.01.10 at Saraswathi Vidya Mandir, Khairathabad, Hyderabad”.

This day they are also celebrating their anniversary. We reached the school around 4.45 PM and participated in all the events.

These school celebrations are entirely different from other schools, where we can see lots of entertainment programs and movie songs etc.; here every activity includes/inculcates Patriotism, Inspiration and motivation only.

We have distributed Prizes (Project after 10^th Book and a Pen as 1^st Prize and Dictionaries as 2^nd Prize) to all the winners and runners of ESSAY WRITING and ELOCUTION COMPETITIONS.

We have also awarded a “Cash Prize” of Rs.516/- to a Poor Student names Mahankali.Swetha, 9^th Class.

We have announced our financial support to eligible Poor Meritorious students of this school for their higher and/or further studies. We have presented a “Carrier Path Finder Chart” (which explains Carrie Opportunities in Pictorial form) and a “Project After 10^th Book” to School Management to create awareness in students about different opportunities after 10^th class.

The school Management and other Guests were inspired very much by our activities and appreciated our volunteers for doing these noble deeds.

We again moved by the discipline of the total students and school along with their activities.
